There is good content and then there is great content.

How do you remove the Comments are closed at this time completely? If you say don’t have comments then that comment is nul. I want to remove it completely if I check off do not allow comments.
There is no reason there should be “Comments are closed at this time.” under the contact page or any other page for that matter.
Can you please let me know how to get rid of this? I appreciate more then you know your help and your time.

I’d like to know this too. Makes an otherwise very clean theme into a messy one.
add to style.css (ideally in a child theme):
.post .comments { display:none; }
#main .nocomments { display:none; }
sorry, use only the second rule =)
Because Jake’s tip didn’t work for me, I started googling. The following worked for me:
– open clear-theme’s index.php
– find:
– replace with:
